Showcasing VIRSAT Virtual Reality Safety Training at Galfar Road Safety Event

Global Enterprises was honored to be invited by Galfar Engineering & Contracting SAOG—one of Oman's foremost infrastructure and energy contracting pioneers—to participate in their dedicated Galfar Road Safety Event.

Throughout the initiative, we showcased our proprietary VIRSAT Virtual Reality (VR) Training solution, delivering an immersive, high-impact experiential learning platform designed to reinforce safe driving behaviors and critical safety protocols across active construction and concession zones.

Multi-Location Tour Across Strategic Oman Projects

Spanning 10 comprehensive days during September, the road safety roadshow was deployed directly to the frontlines of Galfar's operations across the Sultanate:

• Galfar Al Hamra Project (Nizwa): Engaging regional highway construction teams and heavy equipment operators.
• Al Ansab – Al Jafnain Road Project: Focus on corridor transport safety, urban civil engineering logistics, and live-traffic safety management.
• The Sustainable City (Yiti): Delivering sustainable transport and defensive driving modules for coastal development site teams.
• Galfar Camp in Mukhaizanah (OXY Concession): Addressing harsh desert driving, graded oilfield corridors, dust hazard navigation, and upstream logistics safety.

Hands-On Experiential Safety Scenarios

Attendees actively tested realistic risk scenarios using our standalone VR headsets and mirrored projection suites, giving supervisors and field workers immediate insight into:

• Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspections: Identifying mechanical defects, tire wear, and critical checklist compliance before departure.
• Graded Road & Desert Driving Dynamics: Experiencing simulated vehicle handling on loose gravel, sand dunes, and sudden washouts.
• Hazard Perception & Fatigue Mitigation: Real-time spatial awareness testing, emergency brake reaction times, and pedestrian visibility in crowded site zones.
